About

Welcome to Unearth and Fathom, a strewing blog for the unschooled. This is where I strew information about many topics for my two teen unschoolers, to keep us organized, informed and amazed. More about our family can be found at On Bradstreet .

What is strewing? To strew is to leave bits and pieces, and in this case it's information of all kinds, in the paths of my children, to facilitate their learning.

What is unschooling? Unschooling is simply learning by living, often free on institutions, including school. Unschooling recognizes, and most importantly, trusts that every single moment has something to teach us and that we are learning a vast array of things, even while doing the simplest of tasks.
